Energy Storage as a Grid Asset (1.5 AIA LU|HSW CEUs)
The economics of distributed solar are at risk as the industry continues its unprecedented growth. The value deflation effect, which reduces the value of solar to the grid as more solar assets go online, could limit the growth of distributed solar and add to the disparity in electricity pricing between peak and off-peak hours. This session will explore the role that storage can play in minimizing the impact of distributed solar and even providing higher value grid services.
