Joshua Kagan

Joshua Kagan is the Senior Director of Business Development for CleanFund Commercial PACE Capital where he focuses on cultivating channel partnerships and structuring accretive transactions for commercial real estate owners. Prior to joining CleanFund, he ran the Carbon War Room’s global energy efficiency division which was focused on catalyzing private investment in scalable and replicable efficiency projects on three continents. Prior to the War Room, he was the Senior Analyst with the clean tech investment firm Atlas Capital Investments LLC and a Fellow with the Prometheus Institute for Sustainable Development where he focused on efficiency platforms, advanced transportation systems, and distributed energy companies. He has consulted for Gerson Lehrman Group as well as Greentech Media and has lectured on alternative energy economics at UC Berkeley. He was the sole author of “Third and Fourth-Generation Biofuels: Technologies, Markets, and Economics Through 2015” (Greentech Media) and lead author on “Raising the Roof: How to Create Climate Wealth Through Efficient Buildings” (Greentech Media) He has been both a New Leaders Council and Mitsui/Tomodachi Fellow. Joshua holds a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
