Demystifying Embodied Carbon Policy & How to Leverage Decarbonization Policy Compliance Tools

Embodied carbon is responsible for 11% of global greenhouse gas emissions, representing a significant opportunity for achieving carbon reduction commitments and net-zero goals. With interest from the private and public sectors alike, there has never been a better – or more important time – for the AEC sector to get smart on the emissions type and learn about effective strategies for decarbonization.

This workshop will provide participants with an understanding of embodied carbon policy, introduce them to existing tools used for policy compliance including BEAM, OneClick LCA, tallyLCA and EC3, and provide an overview of the skills needed to effectively use them. The workshop will guide participants through the application of these tools for compliance with various existing embodied carbon or Buy Clean policies globally.
