Ms. Lathey is an experienced clean energy consultant with 17+ years of international experience in building design, energy efficiency, program design and implementation and environmental sustainability. In her role as Director, Energy Efficiency Consulting Services, Ms. Lathey supports the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), California Energy Commission (CEC), utilities and other agencies to advance clean energy policies and programs by conducting research, developing regulatory mechanisms and evaluating and deploying advanced technologies. Ms. Lathey has supported investor owned utilities in California with identification of Title-24 Zero Net Energy (ZNE) building code measures, development of ZNE status verification methodologies, and ;examining barriers and opportunities of community scale distributed energy resources to contribute towards ZNE compliance. Ms. Lathey is a certified architect with the Council of Architecture, India; Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED-AP); Certified Energy Manager (CEM); and a certified Carbon Reduction Manager (CRM). Ms. Lathey holds a Ph.D. in Urban Environmental Planning and a M.S. Building Design from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, USA; and a Bachelors of Architecture from Indraprastha University, New Delhi, India.
