Shilpa serves as the Executive Director of the Net-Zero Energy Coalition (NZEC). NZEC facilitates collective action across North America with the goal of making zero energy buildings the new norm, today.

Prior to NZEC, Shilpa co-founded ZETA Communities, a manufacturer of zero energy and high performance prefab buildings produced in a 98,000 square foot facility in Sacramento, CA. ZETA’s flagship project was Smartspace SOMA, a zero energy ready, 23-unit micro apartment building in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood.

Previously, Shilpa advised leadership in a range of organizations from Silicon Valley start-ups to Fortune Global 1000 companies. During her tenures at PriceWaterhouse Coopers and Sapient Corp., Shilpa provided management consulting to General Motors, Wells Fargo Bank, AAA, Nike, Verizon Wireless, American Family Insurance, and ABN Amro among others.
