Shawn leads Ally Energy’s team with his passion for service, an intuitive curiosity that allows him to see opportunities where others do not, and a remarkable ability to create opportunities for its clients. Shawn’s nearly two decades in the energy solutions space began in utility tax consulting. He provided large energy-consuming industrial customers with tax and utility auditing services, identifying available sales tax exemptions from state and local agencies and monetizing his customer’s exemptions. This highly specialized service has become a staple of the Ally Energy Solutions practice. Shawn and the group that would ultimately become Ally Energy Solutions began working together in 2002, expanding his supply-side energy experience to include demand-side energy efficiency. Throughout his career in energy solutions, Shawn has developed enduring relationships with the industrial clients that Ally continues to serve today.Shawn holds the GC licenses for Ally as a NASCLA and ICC Certified General Contractor, as well as the certifications of BEP, CEM, CDSM and CEP from AEE.
