Seth K. Jacobson, Senior Director, Energy & Water Programs, Climate Resolve Seth Jacobson leads Climate Resolve’s energy and water programs. He currently manages two Zero Net Energy retrofit projects and a drought mitigation project with Garden Grove Unified School District, which is one of the nation’s 100 largest school districts. Seth also manages Climate Resolve’s implementation of a mitigation fund to invest in energy efficiency projects in disadvantaged communities in Los Angeles County, which will contribute to local real estate development Newhall Ranch’s goal to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions. In addition to working for Climate Resolve, Seth is the Co-founder/CEO of Post & BIM, an internet startup focused on green building and building information modeling (BIM). Prior to co-founding Post & BIM, he was a Senior Vice President at Palmer Capital, where he financed and developed more than 16 MW of renewable energy projects. Before that, Seth was the Executive Director of the Green Coast Foundation, a nonprofit organization that worked to promote renewable energy in California. Seth is a LEED Accredited Professional (O+M); holds a certificate in Corporate Environmental Management from UCSB’s Bren School of Environmental Science & Management; and has earned a Master of Public Policy and an MBA from UCLA and an AB in Astronomy & Astrophysics from Harvard College.
