Scott is the founder and CEO of LuxWall.  LuxWall is commercializing transparent insulation to create see through walls.  LuxWall’s Enthermal product achieves R18 insulation value with full transparency significantly reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions in the built environment.  He has founded three other companies focused on thin film coatings and material science, and he is an angel investor in early-stage material science focused companies.  Scott previously was CTO, Group Vice President, and President of Guardian Glass, CTO of a AMLCD company, and a scientist and technical leader at Honeywell Aerospace.  Scott received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and master’s in systems engineering, and he has been granted 114 US patents.
