Scott is the Vice President of Research with Slipstream, leading research efforts focused on commercial building energy systems. His work focuses on applied research of technologies and processes through field monitoring, analysis, and extensive energy modeling. He has specialized in the research of HVAC, lighting, and plug load controls, as well as ground source heat pumps. In addition, he consults with architects and engineers on high performance building designs and systems. Scott is an active member of ASHRAE at both the local and national level; including membership in their national Technical Committees.
