Octavia Wolf services all scholars with Individualized Education Plans (IEP’s) at John Lewis Elementary School. She employs a culturally responsive teaching practice in which all scholars engage in meaningful, rigorous work that affirms their identities. Octavia believes all scholars have the potential and ability to learn, lead, and live fufilling lives. She was recently awarded the Edith Tatel Excellence in Teaching Award for classroom excellence and academic rigor. A critical-thinking, solutions-oriented professional with a proven track record of planning, organizing and implementing culturally responsive instructional practices in the elementary and secondary setting. Uses data-driven instruction paired with restorative justice to encourage student citizen leadership, high levels of academic attainment, and real-world application.
