Nate Kinsey is the Energy Manager at the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD), where he is tasked with implementing all of the crazy energy and sustainability goals his Director can think up. Since arriving in Fall of 2015 Nate has overseen the strategic implementation of the District’s $12 million Prop 39 Energy Efficiency fund allocation, “collaborated” with utility partners on the improvement of interval data access, managed capital energy efficiency projects, assisted in the development and implementation of SFUSD’s Carbon Neutrality Plan as well as new enhanced commissioning protocol for all major modernization projects.  Nate serves as a mayoral appointee on the San Francisco Public Utility Commission’s Citizens Advisory Committee as the Power Subcommittee Chair and is on the Leadership Team for the Clean Energy Leadership Institute.
