Morgan German

Principal Program Manager of Sustainability | Microsoft

Morgan German, PE, CSP, is a Principal Program Manager of sustainability for data center construction at Microsoft.  In her role, she focuses on reducing embodied carbon in data center construction materials and adequately accounting for embodied carbon across all global construction projects. For the past 18 years, she has been focused on sustainability and environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance in many industry sectors. 

Morgan holds a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic and State University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University. She is also a licensed Professional Engineer in fifteen states and a Certified Safety Professional.  

When not at work, you can find her either at the baseball field pacing in the outfield while her oldest son is on the mound or doing science experiments with her youngest son. Morgan lives in Richmond, VA with her husband Jason German and two sons, Cameron, and Jalen.
