Mischa conducts data analysis, creates data visualizations, and completes technical research for several NBI projects and Initiatives, including the GridOptimal Initiative, the Getting to Zero Buildings Database, and the Advanced Water Heating Initiative. Before joining NBI in 2021, Mischa worked as the Senior Technical Manager for the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC). She was responsible for managing the CRRC’s technical research projects and drove the development of new test methods for measuring the radiative properties of roofing materials. Mischa’s experience also includes supporting the implementation of energy efficiency programs, and developing, maintaining, and growing market actor relationships. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Multidisciplinary Engineering with a focus on Environmental and Ecological Engineering from Purdue University in 2012.
