Maureen Guttman is the President of the Building Codes Assistance Project (BCAP), which provides outreach, education and technical assistance to state and local jurisdictions on the adoption and implementation of current model energy codes. Maureen is a licensed architect with over 25 years of experience in energy-efficient building design and related public policy. Prior to joining BCAP, she was the Executive Director of the Governor’s Green Government Council with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. A former member of the AIA National Board of Directors, she currently serves on the AIA Energy Leadership Group. Maureen is also an active member of the International Code Council, and is the Chairman of the Governing Committee of the ICC Sustainability Membership Council.
