As Director of Sustainability, Mark leads SERA’s Sustainability Resources Group, a multidisciplinary team with expertise in energy reduction and decarbonization strategies for the built environment. Mark brings 30 years of experience in architecture, building performance research, and education and also facilitates sustainability training. His projects vary in scale and construction type, but show consistent attention to generating climate positive results including operational and embodied carbon, indoor environmental quality, passive design, high-performance building enclosures, and holistic performance. Mark has taught university courses on building enclosure design and presents at conferences on sustainability and performance
