Madi has seven years’ experience working on climate and energy policy for private, public and non-profit organizations. Madi is proficient in policy development and implementation for deep decarbonization and whole-building retrofits in the building sector. Her work in Canada spans multiple levels of government and addresses the environmental, social and economic intersections of climate change mitigation via in-depth research and analysis, stakeholder engagement, and communications. Some of Madi’s notable recent projects include the City of Vancouver’s Carbon Pollution Limits, Port Moody’s Climate Ready Homes and Buildings Strategy, and the Province of BC’s Low-Income and Social Housing Electrification Roadmap.
