Kate Mosley currently serves as the Program Manager for Renew America’s Schools & Nonprofits within the State & Community Energy Programs of the U.S. Department of Energy. This innovative program is deploying $550 million to promote the implementation of clean energy improvements at nonprofits and K-12 public schools across America. This initiative is the first of its kind, established by the President’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), and aims to help school communities and diverse nonprofit agencies make high-impact energy efficiency upgrades that will decrease energy use and costs, improve indoor air quality and foster healthier learning environments. As a public school mom and experienced nonprofit executive leader, Kate has a passion for community -based solutions that engage diverse stakeholders and embrace creative thinking. She is committed to cross-sector collaborations that result in actionable results to address climate change.
