As Managing Director of Programs, Julie advances IMT’s efforts to develop and implement market-based solutions to today’s climate and energy challenges. While working for the U.S. Department of Energy, Julie developed a passion for finding ways the public and private sectors could collaborate to ensure that buildings are an active part of the solution—rather than a contributor—to climate change. She entered federal service after several years of local government work—serving in Mayor Bloomberg’s administration as Chief of Staff for Energy Policy in the NYC Economic Development Corporation, and prior to that, in the City of Baltimore’s Department of Housing and Community Development. Julie began her career in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ climate consulting practice.
