Jonathan Laski

Director, Global Projects & Partnerships | World Green Building Council

Jonathan is the Director of Global Projects and Partnerships with WorldGBC, the network of 70 Green Building Councils and 49,000 member companies and individuals around the world. Jonathan leads the development and delivery of global projects, including “Advancing Net Zero”, advocating for all buildings to operate at net zero carbon by 2050, and “Better Places for People”, an initiative which seeks to prove the business case for green buildings through the consideration of health, wellbeing & productivity.
Prior to joining the World Green Building Council, Jonathan undertook various climate change, energy efficiency, and renewable energy roles with organizations ranging from national and local governments through to multi-national corporations, non-profits and start-ups. Past roles include work with the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group in London, UK and Waterfront Toronto.  Jonathan is a lawyer by training and is based in Toronto, Canada.
