Jean Ascoli, Licensed Architect, CEM, LEED® AP, is Senior Energy Efficiency Program Manager at ComEd. In that role, she directs the ComEd Energy Efficiency – Commercial and Industrial New Construction offering. Prior to joining ComEd, Ascoli developed and implemented a new construction energy-efficiency program for public sector projects in Illinois, through her work with the Smart Energy Design Assistance Center, an implementer for the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. She has also worked as an owner’s representative and consultant architect, specializing high performance commercial building design. Ascoli trained as a Passive House consultant and provided architectural design services on the Equinox House (http://buildingdata.energy.gov/project/equinox-house) the first net zero home in Urbana, Illinois.
