Forest is a talented building performance specialist with a passion for sustainable community development, emphasizing the impact that designers play on the environments they shape. Forest takes special interest in the built environment and its effect on climate change. As such, he creates energy-efficient, flexible designs concentrating on passive systems first, with active systems in the background. He believes that a successful project relies on working closely with both creative and technical consultants, and treating each building as a dynamic ecosystem. Prior to his role at PAE, he spent over 4 years working on in efficiency program development with Energy Trust of Oregon, helping analyze, evaluate and support the projects pursuing the Path to Net Zero.
