David received his Bachelors of Architecture in 1999 and started his career with a small Architectural firm in New Jersey. The primary focus of the firm was in the public school sector. Some of his earlier accomplishments include one of the first LEED schools with roof top PV in Howell Township, NJ. He was also involved with a Magnet High school in Philadelphia that was partially funded by the Bill Gates Foundation. The Philadelphia school included a green roof, water catchment system, PV’s, and thermal storage. David moved over to TD Bank in 2006 where he has been part of the Architecture and Design department. The A&D department has lead the way in sustainable building with the implementation of the TD LEED prototype store, decreasing energy usage by +/- 40%, maintaining an average Gold level LEED certification all along reducing the construction costs compared to the heritage stores. David was also the primary TD Bank Design manager for the first Net Zero Retail Bank opened in North America, Cypress Creek, Ft Lauderdale FL.
