Conor Mulderrig is a Climate Change Policy Advisor in the Office of Governor Roy Cooper. Originally from Winston-Salem, he holds a Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment and a B.S. in Atmospheric Science and Climatology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. He joined the Governor’s Office from the EPA Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards and is predominantly focused on implementing Governor Cooper’s building decarbonization goals, the North Carolina Clean Transportation Plan, and procuring federal funding made available through the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to realize North Carolina’s climate goals.
