Clair Hessmer has worked in the fields of energy efficiency, strategic energy management (SEM), cogeneration, and renewable energy for 15 years. She currently serves CLEAResult’s SEM programs across North America as an engineer, trainer, and tool developer spreading best practices and technical resources to sites ranging from small apartment complexes to utility-scale power plants. Clair has previously been an SEM energy coach, a large custom incentive program reviewer, an energy auditor, and a cogeneration and renewable energy feasibility study provider. She is a registered professional engineer in New York and Ohio and holds Masters of Engineering, Bachelors of Science, and Bachelors of Arts degrees from Cornell University.
