Amy Wheeless analyzes policy and develops creative solutions at the NW Energy Coalition, which is an alliance of environmental and civic organizations, businesses, and progressive utilities advocating for a clean and affordable energy future. Amy joined the Coalition in 2017, where she is focusing on advocating for energy efficiency policies and programs, including high performance building policy in Washington State. Amy also serves as a Co-Chair for Shift Zero, a zero net-carbon building alliance in Washington. Prior to joining the coalition, Amy worked as a consultant on various environmental and energy issues for utilities, governmental agencies, and nonprofits. She has a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Washington and bachelor’s degrees from North Carolina State University.
