Alex is an award winning designer and expert in building energy simulation. She has a master’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering with a concentration in energy modeling. She is also the lead energy modeler for the Center for Building Performance group which primarily focuses on occupant well-being, sustainability, and reducing operating cost while maintaining a neutral capital investment. Alex has participated in competitions such as Solar Decathlon, Race to Zero, and Architecture at Zero.
