ABDULLA DARRAT is the Senior Vice President of Renewal Construction. Prior to transferring to Renewal Construction in 2018, he worked as the Vice President of Development at Omni New York. Abdulla has also worked at Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation, a non-profit community development corporation that provides a comprehensive range of programs, including the development of affordable housing, to the East New York community in Brooklyn. Prior to working at Cypress Hills LDC, Abdulla used his multidisciplinary background in architecture, construction, urban planning, real estate finance, and community development to lead residential, commercial and industrial projects through their development lifecycle in the Southern United States and in New York. Abdulla received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas in Austin and a Masters of Urban Planning from Harvard University. He also spent a year in Morocco as a Fulbright scholar.
