Primary Venue: Civic Hall

Monday reception and all Tuesday activities will be hosted at Civic Hall, located at 124 E 14th St, New York, NY 10003.

GTZ Forum does not have an official hotel, but NBI has negotiated rates at the following locations. All rates begin Sunday, October 4 and end Wednesday, October 7.


Getting There
Arriving by Air

Civic Hall is located approximately 10 miles from La Guardia Airport (LGA), 17 miles from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), and 15 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).


Arriving by Train

Civic Hall is located approximately 2 miles from Grand Central Terminal and 1.5 miles from Penn Station.


Public Transit

MTA Trip Planner

Use the New York MTA Trip Planner to find the best route to Manhattan using public transit. The standard fare is $3 for subways and buses. You may pay using a credit card, debit card, smart phone (with mobile wallet enabled), or OMNY card.

OMNY Card

Ride Apps or Taxis

Directions from LaGuardia

  1. Taxi cab service is available at all airport terminals. Simply get in line and the dispatcher will direct you to the next available cab, no reservations needed. You can view taxi wait times and pickup locations here. Taxis to Manhattan cost on average between $30-50.
  2. For rideshare apps, pickup is located in different locations depending on the terminal. Visit the LaGuardia website for updates on location for pickup. Average cost of a rideshare to Manhattan is around $75.

Directions from JFK

Note: Due to construction, taxi and rideshare pickup/dropoff may take longer than normal at JFK airport. Please budget additional time or take public transit.

  1. Taxi cab service is available at all airport terminals. Simply get in line and the dispatcher will direct you to the next available cab, no reservations needed. You can view taxi wait times here. Taxis from JFK to Manhattan have a flat rate of $70, plus tolls, tip, and $2.75-$8.50 in additional fees which vary by time of day and destinations.
  2. For rideshare apps, passengers can generally be picked up and dropped off in front of their terminals, but this may vary depending on the time of day and terminal. Check your app for the latest details on pick-up and drop-off locations. The average cost of a rideshare to Manhattan is around $105.

Directions from Newark

  1. Taxi cab service is available at all airport terminals. Simply get in line and the dispatcher will direct you to the next available cab, no reservations needed. You can view taxi wait times here. Taxis from Newark to Manhattan cost $65 on average.
  2. For rideshare apps, passengers can generally be dropped off in front of their terminals, and picked up in designated locations at each terminal. Check your app for the latest details on pick-up and drop-off locations. The average cost of a rideshare to Manhattan is around $80.
