The ACEEE developed this factsheet to detail the economic benefits of energy efficiency, and the opportunities that exist to further these benefits. ACEE argues for programs aimed at solving economic inequalities, as well as energy efficiency. These programs will have benefits that go beyond environmental concerns to address social and economic concerns.
