Sharon Grant, CSBA, LEED AP BD+C and Homes, has been providing green building consulting and education since 2006 when she founded her company Eco Edge to facilitate greater adoption of sustainable building practices through education, strategic planning, coaching, outreach, and organizational transformation. Sharon has a deep understanding of sustainable and above-code buildings based on consulting on over 100 LEED certified homes, neighborhoods and commercial buildings across the Pacific Northwest.
To raise the minimum standard for energy efficiency, Sharon provides outreach and education and co-facilitates a statewide energy code collaborative. She has worked directly with the several cities to adopt and implement above-code standards. Since 2017, she has been the contractor for NEEA’s Commercial Code Enhancement (CCE) initiative. Sharon has developed strategic energy management (SEM) plans for the Boise, Tacoma, Eugene, Missoula, Providence, Grand Rapids, Ketchum and the State of Idaho. Sharon has degrees in Ecological Design and Business.
