Dr. Chelsea Petrenko is a Managing Consultant at Opinion Dynamics with expertise in data collection and analysis, writing, and project management. Her primary responsibilities include qualitative and quantitative data analysis and collection, reporting, and project planning. Chelsea has contributed to several residential studies, including those on Zero Net Energy, energy efficiency financing, conservation campaigns. In addition to California ME&O experience, she conducts policy research for Opinion Dynamics, specifically focusing on emerging policies such as AB 802 (Williams, 2015).
Prior to joining Opinion Dynamics, Chelsea conducted research in the field of ecology. Her work studied the effects of climate change and human disturbance on ecosystems, particularly carbon cycling. She researched climate change in Greenland and Antarctica before deciding to use her skills and training to reduce energy use. Chelsea has training and experience in interdisciplinary research and specializes in working with diverse teams. She brings experience in project management, writing, publishing and analytics to Opinion Dynamics.
