Clean Energy Program Manager | Consolidated Edison

Mark Brescia is a Clean Energy Program Manager for Con Edison’s Electric Advantage program that offers select customers whole building electrification upgrades and weatherization at no cost in lieu of replacing mains nearing end of life. He is a leader in Con Edison’s electrification efforts having launched the Company’s first geothermal heat pump incentive offer in 2019 and heat pump financing provider network in 2022.  

Mr. Brescia has a decade of decarbonization experience in utilities and consulting for both small and large buildings prior to joining Con Edison. He previously managed National Grid’s residential and multifamily gas efficiency offers in New York City and Long Island. With ICF, he worked on NYC Clean Heat, an effort by Mayor Mike Bloomberg to guide New York City’s largest buildings off heavy heating oil. Mark began his sustainability career transitioning New Jersey residents from incandescent to compact fluorescent bulbs and providing weatherization surveys and installations for Maryland homeowners. 

Mr. Brescia is a graduate of Brandeis University, secretary of the board for GreenFaith, a non-profit building a worldwide, multi-faith climate and environmental movement and member of Association of Energy Services Professionals.
