Teresa approaches each project with curiosity and a deep care for community, nature, and their existing—and potential—interconnections. She is a leader on regenerative design, biophilia, health and wellness and climate justice. She’s active within AIA San Francisco’s Committee on the Environment (COTE) and the Living Building Collaborative, and speaks frequently on the power of induction cooking as a culinary vehicle toward a decarbonized future. She’s recently served as a content leader for The Building Decarbonization Practice Guide, A Zero Carbon Future for the Built Environment and as a speaker about equity design engagement at California’s Coalition for Adequate School Housing Conference (CASH) and Net Zero Conference.
