Stephen has worked on a wide array of projects including educational, medical, civic, and commercial facilities. Specializing in sustainable buildings, he has worked on numerous projects incorporating Photovoltaics (PV) and wind turbines. He is also experienced in designing Micro-Grid System, power distribution systems, fire alarm systems, and lighting controls. Stephen graduated with a Masters and Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, and as a result, is versed in coordination issues between the structural, architectural, construction, low voltage, and mechanical disciplines. This enhanced coordination has been exceedingly important when designing sustainable buildings and working with an integrated team, and has been further enhanced by Stephen’s knowledge of the LEED rating system and PV and Micro-Grid System design. Stephen has produced construction phase oversight/quality assurance for numerous photovoltaic (PV) system and electrical installations. The PV systems installations have included a variety of different sizes and types, including thin film, single and multi-crystalline panels; flat and tilted mounting; rooftop, grade and shade structures; stand alone and Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BiPV).
