Rasha Hasaneen is vice president of innovation at Trane Technologies – a global climate innovator. Rasha has been with the company since 2017 and is responsible for driving functional excellence, building product management capability and incubating and accelerating innovation across the company.
Rasha is also executive director of Trane Technologies’ Center for Healthy and Efficient Spaces (CHES). The center serves as a convening resource to unify and scale strategies and solutions that create safer, healthier and more efficient environments across the breadth of the company’s business portfolio – including spaces in homes, buildings and transportation. As director of the center, Rasha leads engagement with internal experts and business teams, and external partners to accelerate the development and introduction of indoor environmental quality solutions across the commercial, residential and transportation customer base.
Through various leadership roles developing data-driven solutions, Rasha has transformed the customer experience for companies including Trane Technologies, Ingersoll Rand, GE, SAP, Hitatchi, Lucent Technologies and GM. Rasha is a seasoned executive with a broad background in product management, product marketing, engineering, strategy, planning and lean thinking. Throughout her career, she has consistently leveraged her technical and business background to bridge the gap between market expectations and technology solutions in engineering-driven companies. She has managed product portfolios through their lifecycle – setting and articulating strategy; working across cultural and organizational boundaries to drive planning and execution; working with customers early and often to enable market adoption; and leading diverse, high-performing teams to deliver meaningful results.
Rasha has a PhD in chemical and petroleum engineering, business and public policy from Texas A&M University, a Master of Science in industrial engineering and engineering management from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Engineering and Management in mechanical engineering from McMaster University. She is also a registered Professional Engineer.
