Nick is a Senior Project Manager dedicated to improving the sustainability of the built environment through energy efficiency, decarbonization, building science, and education. His focus is on energy and green building consulting for affordable multifamily new construction and major renovation projects. Nick manages AEA West’s Independent Consulting department, which delivers green building services for new and existing buildings, including green ratings (LEED for Homes, GreenPoint Rated, Passive House), California Energy Code (Title 24 Part 6), Low Income Housing Tax Credit consulting, HERS & diagnostic testing, comprehensive energy modeling, electrification, and energy-focused design review. Nick is also an experienced trainer and educator, delivering classes on a range of building science topics, including the NAPHN Certified Passive House Designer/Consultant and the BPI Multifamily Building Operator courses, as well as customized courses for building owners, developers, utilities, and universities.
