Heather Pecho is a recent graduate from Illinois Institute of Technology, who earned an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering, a masters degree in environmentally engineering, and a specialization in energy, environment, and economics. Post graduation, Heather is working at Willdan as an energy specialist with her main role as helping buildings decrease their energy usage and become more sustainable.
In college, Heather was President of Tau Beta Pi, Fundraising chair for Engineers Without Borders, researched liquid battery cell development for NASA, and was the student manager of a 1960’s 8-lane bowling alley. During the U.S Department of Energy Solar Decathlon Design Challenge, Heather was elected as team lead and led her team to victory in the Retail Division. She was also actively involved in multiple other clubs and organizations like the President’s student advisory council, American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and Prism.
