Brett Bridgeland, RA CEM, is a Manager with RMI’s Carbon-Free Buildings practice. He works on the Pathways to Zero Initiative, which focuses on driving the adoption of superefficient and net-zero energy buildings. Brett has 15 years of multi-disciplinary experience across architecture, energy engineering and utility program design and implementation. He has designed, managed, or consulted on projects at all scales, from individual buildings to communities and districts, to national decarbonization roadmaps. He previously managed multi-million-dollar utility programs for new construction and major renovations. Current projects include supporting NYSERDA’s Empire Building Challenge to advance low carbon retrofit solutions for high-rise buildings and developing a net zero roadmap for the building sector of India. Brett studied architecture at the University of Illinois and engineering at Stanford.
