Dr. William Eisenstein is the Executive Director of the Center for Resource Efficient Communities at UC-Berkeley, a research center studying the role of buildings and land use patterns in climate change mitigation, urban water management, and energy efficiency. Dr. Eisenstein has led research projects sponsored by the California Air Resources Board, the California Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, the California Strategic Growth Council, the California Energy Commission, the National Science Foundation, and others.
