Walter Schaefer, EIT, is a Senior Engineer and the Transportation Electrification Lead for DNV, with experience across a wide array of transportation electrification projects, including EV managed charging program design, implementation, and evaluation, the architecture and development of advanced charging data analytics tools, and EV adoption and load forecasting for fleet vehicles. He also has experience in demand side management and distributed energy technologies, including expertise in the economic analysis and operational modeling of hybrid distributed generation systems. Walter holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
