Poppy Storm is the founder and Director of Innovation at 2050 Institute. 2050 Institute is a small, woman-owned building energy efficiency and decarbonization research and policy consulting company. The Institute partners with utilities, policy makers, and market actors to deliver building efficiency and decarbonization at scale in the Northwest and beyond. Poppy helps clients understand the trajectory and implications of state and local policies on building decarbonization and energy efficiency strategy, planning, program design, and market transformation. She has facilitated and/or provided strategic, policy, and technical support for numerous regional, state, and municipal energy efficiency and decarbonization projects. Poppy has Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Washington and a Master’s degree in Whole System Design from Antioch University in Seattle.
