Mark M. MacCracken is the CEO of CALMAC, which is one of the largest manufacturers of Thermal Energy Storage equipment in the world, with over 4,000 installations in 60 countries. In his 40 years with the firm, he has assisted in the design of hundreds of Ice Storage systems around the world. Some of the recent installations in New York City are for Credit Suisse, Google, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Tower and Rockefeller Center.
He has his BS in Mechanical Engineering, has three U.S. Patents, is a Professional Engineer and a LEED-Fellow.
He is, or recently has served as Chairman of the Board of USGBC, AEE’s Energy Engineer of the Year, Vice Chair of ASHRAE Standard 189.1, the Board of Director of Urban Green and is a ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer.
