Luke Lanciano serves as the Director of Sustainability for The Tower Companies, taking the lead on sustainability initiatives across their portfolio. Luke has worked in property management for over 10 years, first overseeing building operations as a property manager, before managing the energy, water, and sustainability practices for a portfolio of over 5,000 apartments with Bernstein Management Corporation.
Luke has worked on a range of projects that help reduce or optimize energy use, including solar installations, HVAC controls, and window replacements. Luke also has overseen a variety of water conservation and storm water management projects. His goal is continue the long legacy of sustainable design and operations for The Tower Companies.
Luke is a LEED® Accredited Professional (AP) for Operations and Maintenance, a Fitwel Ambassador, and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). He is currently a member of the Building Performance Improvement Board in Montgomery County, was appointed by Governor Moore to serve on the Maryland Building Energy Transition Implementation Task Force, and serves as a Co-Chair for the Emerging Leaders Council of the Apartment and Office Building Association (AOBA) of Metropolitan DC.
