Laurel Chądzyński, AIA, WELL AP is an Architect and Sustainable Design Leader at Dyer Brown, where she supports firm-wide and project-specific sustainability initiatives. Trained in Lean thinking with a passion for healthy materials, she consistently challenges her peers and project teams to consider the wide ranging impacts of their design and project management decisions. As founding co-chair of the Carbon Leadership Forum Boston/New England Chapter’s Reuse Subcommittee she has worked to grow the community of reuse advocates in her market, co-authoring a Reuse Roadmap to provide guidance to industry stakeholders interested in reuse.
Through her dual roles at Dyer Brown and as VP of Engagement at the non-profit Mindful MATERIALS, she is able to not only guide sustainable materials selection and specification at a project level but also work industry-wide to enable more holistically sustainable materials selections. At Mindful MATERIALS her work focuses on building industry partnerships and relationships with Architecture and Design firms, Contractors, and Owners to enable the proliferation of sustainable products choices throughout the industry.
