Joey Marquart leads the Edelman social innovation team focused on technologies that impact society. He has directed multi-practice teams for clients in the electric vehicle, building and construction, clean energy, energy efficiency, smart grid, bio-refining, LED, and power storage sectors.
For a consortium of EV stakeholders including the U.S. Auto Alliance, Joey oversaw the development of a consumer engagement campaign focused on electric vehicle adoption.
For Elio Motors he leads a team focused on the company’s three-wheel vehicle prototype which achieves 84 mpg.
For Nissan he was developed electric vehicle planning and channel strategy.
He speaks at forums like the Cleantech Forum, SXSW and the Cleantech Open. Joey was recognized as an Edelman Quality Hero in June 2011.
Joey originally joined Edelman’s New York office in 2005, where he supported the Motorola and Samsung teams in the fields of mobile electronics, networking and semiconductors. He got his start as a news assistant at The Salt Lake Tribune and county reporter at the Park Record in Park City, Utah.
