Heather works for Perkins Eastman as a Sustainability Specialist on the Firmwide Sustainability Team. With a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and a master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Oregon with a focus on sustainable technology, she has combined her passion for research and architecture in both her education and her career. She currently works to provide architects with easy access to top research and information around key topics of sustainable design and to help propel the industry forward toward a more sustainable future. Her recent passion has been focused around Indoor Environmental Quality, and the development of a toolkit to study a project’s performance around IEQ parameters. She is currently working to launch this toolkit company wide, and the presentation will focus on her findings and experiences to date.
