Amber Mahone is a partner at Energy and Environmental Economics, Inc. (E3), a leading energy economics consulting firm based in San Francisco, where she has worked for over a decade on clean energy transition strategies. Amber’s team specializes in analyzing and modeling long-term greenhouse gas reduction strategies in the energy economy. She has also worked on energy efficiency valuation projects and electricity generation resource planning. She led California’s analysis of greenhouse gas reduction strategies, working with the California Energy Commission, the California Air Resources Board, the California Public Utilities Commission and others, and has worked on climate strategy projects across the country. She holds an M.P.A. from Princeton University and a B.A. in International Relations from Wellesley College.
