Stacey Rothgeb provides thought leadership and technical management to a variety of research efforts focused on industry advancement through building science integration, knowledge transfer, and workforce development. Key efforts include the DOE Building America Program and DOE Solar Decathlon Competition. Stacey has a diverse background in engineering design, construction project management, and energy consulting. Prior to joining NREL in 2009, Stacey worked for private industry as an electrical system designer, the U.S. Air Force as a construction and energy manager, and also owned and operated her own residential energy consulting firm. Stacey is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
