Myriam is a Senior Consultant at VEIC, leading the TECH Clean California Quick Start Grants program. Myriam is a strategist with more than 15 years of experience in crafting and advancing equitable energy policy and guiding organizational change on energy transition issues. She specializes in participatory policymaking, co-designing initiatives with the people who will benefit from them. In her work in implementing residential building decarbonization programs, Myriam embeds assessment tools to pinpoint the most effective strategies, identify obstacles, and facilitate future program design and implementation. Myriam has also led inclusive program design processes for local governments, nonprofits, and affordable housing authorities. She directed strategic initiatives for a nonprofit organization providing heating and home utility resources to disadvantaged Maryland households.
