Micah Zender is a 6th generation designer, 2nd generation researcher, and 1st generation innovator. Over the last twenty years, his work has been recognized by industry associations of various sizes, including the Smithsonian Institute. He has lectured on design, technology, and innovation throughout the United States, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Micah taught at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design Architecture Art and Planning (DAAP) for six years, instructing students who are now design leaders in some of the biggest companies in the world.
Micah uses design thinking, service design, and various forms of research to influence and guide innovation and has used his skills to help companies of all types generate 100’s of millions in new revenue. His innovation specialty is assisting organizations in identifying, creating, and launching breakthrough products. Having a passion for people, Micah utilizes his talents to better the environment in a way that creates new jobs and economic opportunity.
Micah holds a BFA in Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, continues to evolve as a spouse and parent of 3 children, aspires to be a fine woodworker, and is known to apply his design and innovation skills within his garden.
